Thanks to everyone for your kind & caring responses.
It's 3.05am & I just turned my phone on as it's been a rough night with sooo many drugs being given to find one which eased the pain. I spent 4 hours in recovery with them struggling with pain management & even had hot blankets on the pain area along with a Bair Huggie. You must Google 'Bair Huggie' if you don't know about this amazing heat blanket.
I was dying to see Anthony as he was not allowed to come into recovery. Geez I love that man -he patiently waited all day & now I miss him as there is no-one to reach out & touch. :( we've only spent a handful of nights apart in 4.5 years. I only got to see him for less than an hour as I only got out of recovery as visiting hours finished & he looked so tired. Bless him.
My 19 year old son came & waited all morning which all the nurses said was impressive for his age. As I left to get ready for surgery I kissed Anthony goodbye and, jn a room full of waiting patients, my son said "where's mine?" and also hugged me twice which was pretty special.
A lot of clients sent emails & messages before hospital which was uplifting.it was lovely coming here to read all the messages ((hugs back)).
Got to go - been hit with another wave of pain - drugs only working for under 2 hours & only allowed to have every 3. Apparently morphine doesn't work on this type of pain....!
Ps....hello, it feels a bit like home as the lady beside me is snoring.
PPs....have a room with a window city view - worth $200+ per night if it was a hotel ;)
Talk soon :)
