It is awesome to hear your "voice" Nicolette and know you are doing well. As well as expected after a surgery. I will continue to hold you and Anthony in my special thoughts.

Hi. Still in hospital when was going home 7.30am. Still bleeding when it should have subsided. They realized the nurse didn't give me the anti-inflammatory prescribed all night which would have helped with pain- duffers!

Now a case of wait & see. Poor Anthony looks wrecked. Seems I might be staying tonight now as they just brought me menus.

Awwww I hope you both are in better shape since the last posting. It's so tough to not be able to do anything one's self. I loved that your Son was there along side Anthony. I hope that you are resting more comfortably, it's never easy in a hospital setting, but hopefully they have gotten the bleeding under control.

Take care Nicolette, maybe that extra night will do you more good than you being sent home too early.

Even though Anthony will worry about you, it will be better for both of you for them to sort everything out before you get home.

I'd only just caught up with your surgery and hospital stay, so sorry!! Trust you to find the good bits like the wonderful view, the fabulous blankets and appreciating your softie of a husband. You'll be home and being fussed over there quite soon, with familiar, comforting views and your own warm blankets.

I have no idea of where my time is in relation to you except maybe you are 20 hours ahead, so is it tomorrow there yet - sorry rambling brain dead.

I hope they have your meds sorted now and the pain is becoming bearable. Take your time and if a longer hospital stay is needed then lie back and enjoy the view.

Poor Anthony, I think it is worse to watch someone you love dearly in pain than to be in pain yourself, it is that feeling of helplessness which is so frustrating. I have fingers and bits crossed that Nicolette will be home with you soon.

Take time together to rest and recover.

Much love to you both from across the pond! I truly hope you feel better soon Nicollette, give yourself time to heal, even a GA can affect your body let alone surgery. I hope you get some rest Anthony. You remind me of my hubby who would stay at my side every minute of every day if he could!
