Yea your right, she was 16 when she had me. Basically she neglected me and didn't look after me right, my bottle's were always filled with alcohol so I would sleep most of the time :( Shit bad times!!!

Wow, at 16, she was just a child herself! Wonder where she got alcohol from? Was she living with her parents?
In my opinion, she could be a completely different person now (good or bad).

I still say take it slow as you would like meeting any stranger. Your safety is #1. Until you get to know her I would not let your guard down just because she is your bio mom. I would treat her (as far as your safety & scamming) like any other stranger. Just keep in mind that you truly don't know her, to be able to trust her. Let her prove herself worthy of trust, as anyone else would need to. This is just my opinion.
