I bought a pet betta fish for my aquarium yesterday. That is about what I can handle, as there are no vet bills, thankfully. I named him Roger and he is red colored. He actually pays attention to me when I come over to his little aquarium. It is a ten gallon tank, with blue gravel and a few plants. He's a curious little fellow, I think. He is amusing to watch. I will enjoy his company.

I love her and miss her a great deal, it is difficult to lose a pet, they are basically family members.

I really miss our cats. They were K's to begin with and she let me have them for 8 months after separating, but took them back eventually. They were such good company. I love cats. People say I should get new cats but I look at the brown plant hanging on the sunporch and think maybe not a good idea.

My cats wouldn't allow me to forget to feed them. Even at my worst when I would do anything to stay in bed, they would wouldn't let me have a moments peace if the food or water dish was low. The don't even wait until it is empty lol.

So my pets...
I have 3 cats. Technical 1 is mine, a beautiful short hard dilute torby (a dilute tortoise shell with tabby markings) My husbands cat which is a tuxedo kitty, and the a grey tabby that we refer to as our evil overlord and master. She runs the show and everyone else bows to her every whim. She also has Cerebellar Hypoplasia for anyone who is curious enough to look it up. Also known as wobbly kitty syndrom.

I also have 4 ferrets. A sable girl, a champaign boy, a lavender point boy, and out silver wardy girl. She has wardenburgs syndrome which means she is deaf and has blue eyes. Most ferrets have brown or burgundy color eyes.

@Fadeaway I would always feed them np, but with the litter box I have some problems. I don't know, maybe I should go rescue some kitties.

You have quite a pantheon. I believe all cats are either scheming to make us build pyramids and such or plotting to kill us. But I love 'em! Do the cats play with the ferrets I wonder?

They do have automatic self-cleaning litter boxes ya know. ;)

My husbands cat is the only one that plays with the ferrets. The other two are old grumps :D

Hmm self-cleaning you say. I find that difficult to imagine. But yes, cats would be good...
