[DharmaGirl]

Bella likes to snuggle. If you say, snuggle Bella, she will slowly lower her 136 lbs on top of you so you can rub her Belly. My cat, Peeper, is huge, weighs 20 lbs and can make himself weigh 100 lbs, make his paws sharp and stalk down your body when he is displeased. He used to just say in a tiny voice, "peep", but now he recognizes the Siamese in himself and drives us all insane by talking all the time. I really feel silly yelling, "stop!, Stop talking" to a cat but sometimes I just can't take it anymore.

It has been very hot and humid here recently... the dogs have enjoyed swimming in the lake. :)

Max likes water on his terms. Unfortunately no lakes are nearby and the ponds are drying up to smelly muddy puddles. Max of course has gone into them 2 days running and has had to be washed down before being allowed into the house. It was so bad yesterday, even the blanket from the car and the dog towels had to be washed.

I have been teaching the girls how to crochet. Last night I snoozed and the girls were watching a movie.

The little one left her ball of yarn and crochet hook on the floor and my dog Belle was so quiet and unwrapped the whole ball of yarn and there was yarn all over the place. I guess my dog is part cat.

Buddy, my terrier mix, does what I call her happy dance. She rubs her face on the ground, belly crawls, flips over, yips little yips. She does this in the morning after I wake up and we do our morning loving. I call her my silly girl. She also likes to take her balls and toss them into the air as she plays all on her own.

My cat decided yesterday that the guest bathtub was a good place to play. She was running around the bathtub meowing and playing with the curtains. One of the weirdest things I have seen her do.

Star, a black cat, whom I rescued as a kitten, loves to play with the paperballs that I make from my re-ejected efforts, at poetry,in the bathtub. Ayesha, does your cat love to drink from the bathtub, while you're taking a bath? Star does.

Squeak, an orange male Tabby, asks for my permission, before he jumps onto my bed. Often lying on his back, allowing me, to massage his underside and give him, a good scratching of his chin, as his eyes roll back and his whiskers stand erected, in please.

Lastly, Venus, Squeak's little sister, who is a ball of energy, especially in the morning, when she climbs on my bed, to get to the window, to sunbathe.

Ayesha, does your cat love to drink from the bathtub, while you're taking a bath?

Oh no. She doesn't like being near the bathtub but she worries about you if you are in it.

Ayesha, Venus and Squeak behave, in a similar manner, when I take a bath.

I have a new cat from my daughter today. She is so scared and she is hiding. My cat is the oldest animal here and hissing so much. I cannot wait until my dog and cat get used to her. She is a cuddle cat and I look forward to having a cat cuddle me.
