Our Pets

We will have to take our cat to the vets on Monday, and to be honest, I am not sure we will be bringing her home.

She is 17, we know she is deaf, but now she is very unsteady on her paws. She struggles to get up and down from the chairs and falls over more often now, she also seems to be loosing balance as she is walking.

Hubby is going to be devastated if we loose her, but I cannot bear to see her suffer.

I was beside myself but I gave it 3 days and she stopped
Saffi is back to her normal self thank goodness.
Look at this box I fit into...
Why do cats love to sit in cardboard boxes. When we had cats, one of the adored boxes. I wonder if it is because many are born in boxes and consider them safe.
.that was a real job!!!
Good job, forget the fire service - just call LH:tup:
We break up our dogs pill and put it in her food dish
I squish cheese around the pill and the cheese and pill go down without touching the sides.
He is a 7 month old Alaskan Malamute
Wow, he is one beautiful pup.

@amethist I am sorry that you are going through this. My first kitty, Sharise, died around that age. Parts of her body were shutting down on her and she kept losing weight. The last time I brought her in was much like how you are going right now. I vowed if she lost more weight, we would let her go. They encouraged me that it was the best to do for her. Sure enough, she lost weight. I will never forget saying goodbye, as I was with her when they put her down. She meowed and looked right at me. That was about 14 years ago. She meant the world to me. I do not envy the task at hand. I wish you peace.
