Thank you to everyone on this forum for all of your uplifting words, wonderful insight and really being such a great place to vent. After several months of my roller-coaster, I have decided to get off this ride. I think sometimes, no matter if a person has PTSD or not, they are just plain selfish. I tried to be understanding and allow him his space. He would say things to keep me "hooked" on the line. Then he would go away again. It was a game and in a real relationship I shouldn't be kept guessing what the other person is thinking or what they are going to do next. We had a wonderful relationship prior to his downfall. I still believe that no matter if someone has PTSD or not, all relationships have obsticles. If both parties are willing to overcome these obsticles, then anything is possible. If only one person is doing all the work, it will never be a real and loving relationship.

Take care and stay strong.

Hi Sisu

I am sorry to hear things have not ended as well as you would have liked. Well done however for having the strength and courage to do what is best for you.

Take care
