Philip Gould Teaches Us About Death

Watch the video and it really is all about life. Life has a beginning and it has an end, and it is all about who we are, who we love, who loves us, the good that we do, etc. Perhaps the biggest message that a person can take from this is knowing that life occurs right now, and even when someone knows they are dying they can have a great life. Its all about today, really living and enjoying. Even in pain, life can be lived if we reach out, face the fear and grab onto every single minute of joy and all that is good.

I didn't see death in this video, I saw life and a life well lived. That should be the focus of everyone....life and living as best we can.

I battle cancer and PTSD, so yeah they are tough in their own respects, but each day I fight the fear and do the best I can to live the best life that I can. I hope someone doesn't misread the message of this video and can see what it is really about.

Carpe diem.....and live it fully!

This is about the turn away from death as an oppressor...

'As long as I look death in the eye, and as long as I accept that I can choose the death that I seek---- I have some freedom here. I have some power here.'

We don't always have the due date like Philip had... but we can still get used to the fact that it is approaching. We can accept the bright warm truth of this matter rather than misperceive it as a glooming shadow. We can not be afraid to let go.

Often we don't even like the self that we possess. Then we think of suicide so we can try and rid ourselves of it. No. I reject this dark notion.

Watching someone on you tube and then seeing in true life is totally different, in my belief! Suicide is pretty sophisticated and that is another story
