Angel, that was a fallen tree with the fungi growing on it. We were on a 8 mile hike and sat on the tree to eat our lunch. Even fallen it is giving a home to other plants and creatures - and us! I love trees too! Have a look at this one. It looks like a dragon!

It can get pretty cold here in winters. The coldest I have experienced which was about 8 winters ago was -42C or -43F BRRRR way too cold for me. I wished I could hibernate in winters. :)

I also live on the Bruce Trail which is about 500 miles long. It starts at Niagara Falls and goes through my city up into to the northern part of the province, hence for all of the waterfalls here.

We have a lot of interesting land formations here due the meltdown of the last ice age.

Webster's Falls is one of my favourite places ro visit. :)

And yes it costs mega dollars to travel now. I wished money DID grow on trees. :)
