Law, I've told you before how much I like your photos. Keep at it and keep entering, you'll get recognition someday. It will happen. Think about all the artists and authors that are famous who were rejected over and over at first. Yours are truly wonderful!

Hopefully I won't have to be dead first!!:laugh:

And thanks again for your support. My T actually gave me goals this week with regard to my photography which is weird in that in three years I've only mentioned it to her twice.

Very nice photos Bittersweet, Kimberly Dawn and Iam--I envision all of us around a huge table looking at all of our photos together saying "ooooo" and "aaaaahhhh" and "gorgeous".

Iam my favorite is the first dandelion. I want it!

You got guts Iam.

Webster's Falls is fairly deep but not as deep as Tew's Falls. Tew's Falls is at one end of the conservation park and Webster's Falls is at the other end. I have a pic on the other page of Tew's Falls. Tews Falls is almost as deep as Niagara Falls. But it's hard to tell in the pic on the other page when it shows so much ice in the pic since it was winter when I took that pic.

There is a peregrine falcon nest on the lift bridge. We also have another nest on a tall motel downtown which has a live cam on. They can't put a cam on the lift bridge due to all of the mechanical parts. Plus with it going up and down all the time. I'll post the link for the cam next spring after MadamX lays her eggs. The cam is shut off now till next spring.

The seaway closes around Christmas time till mid March I think.

I have a net friend that is one of the lift bridge operators and if he is on shift that day he helps band the babies.

Sadly some do fall down the gorge and some do die and some don't. And it happens quite often. It's an extremely rustic trail which is unguarded.

The first pic on this page was taken in the very rustic area.
