It is Morecombe Bay at Silverdale, Prime. The Arnside ones are of the River kent estuary which empties into Morecombe Bay (part of the Irish Sea) so is both river and sea. As Amethist said, it is beautiful. A very wild and stunning area, it has AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) status.

Here are some of Formby Point near Liverpool which is home to the rare Natajack Toad and has a colony of protected red squirrels.

I would have never places in the UK being like that. Wow.

When I was in Ireland, I did expect a lot of the landscape/scenery I found, and then I got to Achill Island, and I was in an almost tropical paradise (I felt like others would feel there, I suppose) when I hit Keel Beach. So didn't expect that :) Can't upload pictures though as it's not where I live, unfortunately. :(

There is a civil war fort half a mile away. its very beautiful but you have to walk through the woods and that makes me nervous. I'm terrified someone will grab me and hurt me so I don't go by myself. But I took a picture of the trail to the fort.




Maybe one day I can go by myself.
