My H and I went to a National Trust property called Little Moreton Hall (pronounced Morton) in Congleton, Cheihire (UK). This is a wonderful Tudor house dating from 1450 and continuing to be built up to the 16th century. It is an oak frame with Wattle and Daub, very irregular and it is a wonder it is still standing.
Such an amazing building and full of history.

The fireplace in the last photo is actually level (I put my bottle of juice on it to make sure!!) it is the rest of the room that is slanted!
