General Picking Them Up...?

I'm getting quite worried about Husband. Despite the PTSD he has always been one of life's optimists - either that or he actually is Teflon coated and he lets things slide off his back and isn't one to dwell on them.

Since Christmas though this has all started to change. I've watched him get more and more tired and run down each day with work, family and even just the little things in life. It is so awful seeing him like this.

His sleep is normally not great, but the tossing and turning is reaching biblical proportions. He says he's sick of everything (certainly not suicidal - I promise) and I don't know how to pick him up.

I'm tempted to book a holiday, but we're short of both time and money at the moment. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm also tempted to go and see his Doctor. I know he wont take medication - he never has, but I just wondered if he could give me some more practical advice?

Thank you x

Hi Toria,

Don't know if it's your thing but maybe a short weekend at a spa for some his 'n hers pampering?

I draged mine kicking and screaming to find that (when he got over his macho moment) he became a total convert, declaring it was a little bit of heaven on earth.

Aroma therapy massage can be very effective for the sleep thing.
