I've never had a plushie animal of my own, other than maybe when I was a baby, but I dont remember that. I've just recently noticed that B sleeps with a plushie bear, and like, it came back...

I never heard of a plushie. Is it simply a name for a cuddly toy? In which case I have plenty and still collect them into my adult years. For me they are a comfort - but I do not link them to trauma. Rather the converse - they protect me.

Not at all - it's progress for me to be able to hear my head telling me "too much, too hard, too painful" and actually respond to that with self-soothing. I'm bouncing back, my discharge from hospital depends on it:cool:
