Post Op

Yesterday I went for my post op appointment.
Things aren't good. The Endometriosis is way to advanced.
They said there's nothing they can do for me at this time.
There advice was to go away, have my little family "if" I can, then go back and have everything removed...

I'm only 26 I'm way to young for this :goingtocry:

I don't know you're whole story but just reading what you posted above. I am so SORRY.

You are right 26 y/o is way too young.

If anyone needs god to hear them it's you..... so, hear goes "GOD lilstar is too young for this, give her a break will ya?! Let her have that family she wants so badly."

Sorry to hear your news :(

As a ray of hope, my friend was always told that her endometriosis was so bad she would probably never have children. She has now got 2 beautiful little girls. The doctors don't always get it right.

I've had a couple of days to think about what was said, and i've decided i'm not taking that.
I've made an appointment at my gp's for next week, I want a second opinion......I'm not having that as my only option.
NO WAY!!!
I'm gonna fight :girlfight:

Good on you Kelly. Like I said. Doctors are sometimes filled with doom and gloom and give 'the worst case scenario'. Getting a second opinion is a brilliant idea. :thumbsup:

Or I've been looking into endo specialists but there quite far away from me...........
Keep looking me thinks..

Definitely keep looking. Even if you have to travel a bit - a second opinion from a specialist will be worth it.:hug:

Went to see my GP yesterday..........told him what happened at my post op. He's written a huge report and referred me for a second opinion. Then today I get a phone call offering me an appointment already.........for the 13th June.....
While that's all great I'm just dreading having to go through it all again *sighs*
I'd just start all this, this time last year.
