Prazosin A God Sent

i haven't went to the pharmacy and have been out of my prazosin for four or five days. When I'm on that I will have a dream but it has less of a lasting impact on my life than without it. So tomorrow I'm going to be picking up my klonopin prazosin and gabapentin. I think picking them all up at one time is smart even tho I'm suffering. I want to raise the prazosin so tomorrow at the docs office I'm going to ask if it needs to be done or not. This is more of a ramble than a question. Sorry about that.

I need to increase my prozon. I just started Gabapentin. Why are you taking it? I was put on it because of spine issues that we are trying to avoid surgery.

I notice that I have to go without for a few days meaning nightmare city then it will work but then have to go without. It seems there is really nothing to calm the nightmares down.

What size does are you taking?

It might need adjusting if this is happening, that's if you haven't reached a dose that isn't already your max.

Or it could be that it's not the right fit for you.

Interesting, do you have low BP already?

I'm at 6mg and was told 10-15mg is often ideal for people with PTSD and nightmares. We do 1mg increases over about 4-6days so that my body can adjust.

Is the Prazosin being prescribed by someone who is familiar with its use for the treatment if PTSD/Nighttmares? Because my GP was not and at first only wanted me to take 2-4mg as well.

Ya I think he has no clue honestly, he's a pdoc but idk what he specializes in.

Prazosin is a miracle drug for me as well. I hope more folks can give it a try.
