Preparing for Painting

My niece and I are painting next Monday, and I have a lot of stuff to do beforehand. It's been a tough week, but I managed to scrub the bathroom floor today, and I am about 1/3 of the way through the kitchen floor. My floors are gross, and I am not good at cleaning them, so this is a huge thing for me.

My goal for the week is to also do the second bathroom floor. Then, before Monday, the patching and cleaning of the walls.

Well, I've been wanting to do this for probably 3 years. I'm doing the small bathroom first, and I'm using a rosewood for the vanity and a very light gray for the walls. I picked those colors because I bought a shower curtain and mat that have elephants on it, and those are the colors.
