Anyone remember a book called I'm Ok and Your Not?:D Sorry I should have said I'm Ok and Your Ok? By Thomas Anthony Harris, look it up, it uses a new, back in the 70's Psychiatry called Transactional Analysis. It was and still is one of the best forums of Psychiatry to date. It helped a lot of people, it fixed them. So why don't you hear about it today? Easy, it worked and would have put the Freud Psychiatrist out of business for the most part. God, we can't have something that works out there. No Nut Jobs, No Bucks.
It did help me a lot in the 70's, but I found liquer was quicker......I think I will find my copy of the book and give it a try on the Beast.
One of the things they did was a test, took a nut job in CA to Freud type psychiatrist and have him diagnosed. Then he was taken to a Transactional Analysis psychiatrist in CA and got him diagnosed. Both diagnoses sealed and not read. Next they did the same thing in NY City with the same nut job. None of the psychiatrist knew about the other diagnoses that had been done. Next was a 3rd party was brought in to compare the 2 Freud type diagnoses and the 2 Transactional Analysis diagnoses. Results were the 2 Freud type diagnoses were complety different!!! The 2 Transactional Analysis diagnoses were the same. How did that happen???
