I know that God is using my circumstances and pain to help others...I shared my recent diagnosis (finally official at 47 after 43 years of being undiagnosed) with a few family members, and two of them said they have either had serious trauma and have a panic disorder (really PTSD), or think they have ADHD (which is also part of my dx). They both thanked me for sharing that with them...and that they didn't feel like they were alone any more!! I have gotten this far and I struggle every day after multiple traumas...but it's worth the fight. Really glad I found this website.

Yay! That is how it works Surfergirl.

For whatever reason or lack of and depending on who or what you believe in...God,the universe,Mother nature placed me in my dysfunctional family. I have learned most people are naïve to basic human nature. I was a young child who understood more than most adults were/are willing to acknowledge. I silently lived abuse. As an adult I am going to share my story. I am not looking for blame.

I am looking for change via awareness. Change and understanding for humanity. That's a great day! :)
