Hello everyone,
I am dealing with PTSD from a deployment in 2005. I am so thankful I found this website. After 3 suicide attempts, and a couple of stays at the VA I recently got to the point where I felt like I had the PTSD under control. How wrong was I. About 3 weeks ago all of my symptoms came raging back out of no where. I still can't figure it out. I ended up in the hospital again where they changed my medicines all around. I am finally standing up and dusting myself off, but I am still real raw inside if that makes sense. I start a new therapy this week referred to as narrative therapy. This is suppose to compliment the CBT therapy by engaging the right half of the brain. I am curious if any of you have experience with this form of therapy. Thanks for having me.
