Ptsd And Touch

Hi everyone,

I was just wondering about buying a Tens Machine, since my fall off my ladder I have borrowed one off my sister in law and find it wonderful. Having gone through sexual abuse as a child I can not stand touch, I tried to have a massage a few years ago from a friend who did massage. It didn't go very well, I lasted all of about 2mins then vomited all over her. I was so embarrassed and apologised about a million times. I have never gone back for seconds !

What I would like to ask you all is,

Have you ever tried one for touch and massage etc ?

If so did you buy one and what type did you find the best as I know nothing about them at all.

The one I have borrowed is a Omron, it's just a home type one pretty cheap like around $ 149 dollars NZ dollars so about $100 USA dollars I suppose.

i have tried the TEMS for my back injuries and pain, sadly it tended to make me go into more spasms, so i had to stop. I have heard people that have used it say it does help
