I was diagnosed in '91 with this, and am just now finding a counselor and psychiatrist who specialize in it. Not that I haven't searched - I've been to numerous ones, but they never understood the trauma. I thank God that I've found help, and pray that you all can also. Keep looking and don't give up. Thanks for this forum. It's nice to not feel so alone any more.

No, that's ok. It's domestic violence. I am so used to just using the initials for it :)
