I guess I should add, I am 53. I have almost no concept of before trauma, but was a victim of several rapes and sexual assaults independent of my violent bio family and first husband. We can learn to live again... don't be to hard on yourself. It's a process, a lesson, and one I find that carries over to older age difficulties.
