Somewhere back in the 70's amidst my reluctant Christmas Pageant participation, my Mother wearing some whacked out red plaid poncho with bells on it (I think she mugged a Scottsman) and my Dad headed for imminent drunkenness and quite possible violence; there resided a cartoon...Charlie Brown or Peanuts to some. In terms of animation it was quite crap. But the music was by a guy named Vince Guaraldi. He wrote all the music for all the cartoons. It is really the only Christmas music I can bear. It cannot be ripped off or replicated and it is definitely not monotonous mantras blaring over the mall speakers. This is good stuff. Relax and enjoy.
