You can get through it

If anybody on this forum thinks you are going to make vast fortunes form writing, you and I can put them straight, because it is very unlikely unless you are the Pope or somebody really famous! You have written a book and have it published, if you are anything like me you write to get your message out there, so tell us what it is called and let the members decide if they want to peruse. For me it’s all about helping others to help themselves and at the same time not taking advantage of the good will of the membership through blatant advertising or self promotion. If I ever recover the cost of publishing my book (unlikely) it is going to Macmillan cancer research because there are easier ways to earn a few pounds/dollars than being an author. Perhaps Anthony can do a critique on your book as PSTD is something he is very informed about especially in the books he recommends.
Just remember many say they want to write a book but never actually get around to it, (i.e. your therapist) but you have and therefore should be proud of your achievement and certainly not apologise or feel unworthy. There is a book in all of us so get writing, for me writing has released many of my demons and I am sure it would do the same for many here whether published or not.
You had to believe in your book to write it so believe in yourself.
