Thanks Prime No, Oddly it was likely the beginning of a lifetime of abandonment issues. She was my first pet! No one cared that she was gone!

The days of get over it! The only good that came from it was when I had children, they were taught to grieve. And not shoved into a replacement pet until they asked!

:) I wish you the best on your decision! It will be the right one for you. Hugs, Whitney

Best thread ever!!! I currently and for the past five years have been raising show rabbits with my father. The breeds we raise are Tan and Thrianta.

From what I have been reading there has been some discussion of group housing of pet rabbits. Since none of mine are spayed/neutered we usually give the adults there own cage. This allows for close monitoring of feed intake and also keeps them from damaging each other fur (very important in show rabbits). We make sure they are entertained by supplying toys for them to play with. Toys include pop cans, salt spool rings with beads and a bell on it, and chunks of wood. It is really fun to watch them from birth to there first show. Enjoy the pictures!!! hannah.webp 076.webp 230.webp 041.webp
