I'm not posting this to be contrary - only to say that, in the doses used for managing the bipolar and schizophrenia spectrums, seroquel XR does cause sleepy-ness, a dopey feeling, people describe it as zombie-like or being intensely foggy. That's only at the higher doses. The four dosing ranges (low to high) are insomnia, anxiety, bipolar/depression, schizophrenia.
Thats why i posted that the 200mg does if i take it in the AM as I forgot that but it doesnt put me to sleep by itself. Im sure it helps but i took the half xanax away and the half tizanadine away and no sleepy land, though it did in the AM which makes zero sense other than maybe the level of anxiety i have at night is higher than what i have in the daytime.
Im sure im likely going to land on 300mg for full anxiety relief in the day. We'll see if it will put me to sleep by itself and what sort of reaction in the day i'll have as it seem each titrate brings something new lol. But overall, im glad i stuck with it!
