Question On Judgment

OMG.......I want to hear some answers for that one. I'm seriously messed up about trusting myself because sometimes my brain runs on protecting me and the triggering, which makes me absolutely terrified of just about everyone.............so when do I 'trust' that what my brain is telling me is right?

I guess it is a matter of fact checking........

I was always a lousy judge of charcter.

What a question!!!

For me, it involves making an informed decision, using my moral/conscience/wisdom, and waiting for the outcome.

I only "trust" my judgment if I have been through similar or the same circumstances and the outcome was positive and it didn't hurt anyone, including me!! I call that my experiences/wisdom. If I don't have any information to draw on, I ask people I trust with their opinions.

It doesn't turn out positive, every single time, but I'm building a life experience diary in the process. Hopefully, I won't make the same mistake more than once. My favorite saying is, "I don't go to the bank for doughnuts."

Hope that helps, just my opinion.

Tough one. Not really sure what the answer is as I'm sure it's different for everyone.

For myself, I'm relearning to trust my judgement after having it was shot to hell when my world turned upsidedown four years ago when I had my breakdown. Small things I'm ok with. The big stuff I run it past someone I trust...like my husband. I'm slowly rebuilding my trust in myself. Like suzie q said, it's building a life experience diary. I honestly feel like I started from zero and I'm working my way up.

When you know you've backed off and are making the call from a non-reactive viewpoint. It's making sure you're being on-reactive that's the tough part, I think.
