Late afternoons is my chill-out time.
Since being off work, I have got into quite a routine. When I'm at work, I work 12 hour shifts, so there is not much time for anything besides, work, sleep, eat, shower.
I generally start my day, on the computer, checking emails, and the forums, for any admin duties. I then go the gym, during the week, except tuesday, when I go off to therapy. Therapy is only about 5 miles away, but since my therapy begins at 9:15, and I live in a city, I have to give myself at least 1 hours travelling time!! I think I live in one of the worst places in the UK, for congestion during 'rush hour'!!
After the gym or therapy, I come home, (shower and change, if I've been to the gym), and start my day properly! By now it's about 10:30 -11 am! I do the house hold chores. Washing up, washing, a bit of cleaning and tidying, then shopping if required. If I don't need much from the shops, and the weather is dry, I walk to the shops. If I need heavy stuff, or it's raining, I drive! After lunch I spend some time replying to the forums, and playing computer games ;).
Then about 4pm, I sit down to watch TV. Usually the stuff I have recorded on series link, for an hour or so. Then I come back to the computer for a bit. Then cook dinner. Evenings are generally spent either on the computer, watching TV, or going out catching up with friends.
Weekends, I do very little house work, and generally avoid going out. I love staying in on a saturday night, watching TV, and ordering a takeaway! I'm easily pleased, and I'm actually very happy pottering around my home, on my own. I can always find something to keep me busy! Also, my mother phones me daily, usually mid-afternoon, just to check I'm ok :p. She has called me every day, since I told her what happened to me..... but I don't mind :D
When/if I go back to work I will miss my lazy Sundays! I like to read the papers, or a good book, cook something nice and a bit more special than I cook during the week, and just relax! Like I said, I'm very happy with the simple things in life!!
