For me nightmares are usual although on and off. Woke up this morning knowing I had bad dreams but couldn't remember them. Ashamed to say I also woke up "turned on". Again, don't know why.

A few hours later my pubic bone (I think) started hurting me so badly. Like its painful to walk.

So confused... Looking for some/any clarity please??

I can't tell between body memories and actual pain from a physical injury. The process of elimination or the emerging memory into consciousness is what tells me that it's a body memory.

From what you said, I know this pain. If it hurts to roll your weight to the front of your toes and the pain gets significantly better if you walk backwards, then it's pubic bone pain. A neoprene back brace down by your hips will help stabilize, but it could hurt pretty badly when you take it off. I suggest a trip to a chiro, doing abduction/adduction exercises with your knees while laying down, pain meds, and rest.

Pain is pain. I would treat it like it's physical until it isn't.

Is it possible that you hit yourself? Though it is entirely possible that it is psychosomatic.

You could have strained a muscle or put it into spasm while sleeping. There are a lot of muscles around there that could spasm etc.

All good ideas. I'll do process of elimination. I'm not pregnant.

Thanks all

I actually think it's a yeast infection now. I've never had this pain with yeast infection. Anyone heard of that? Or could it be unrelated?

I would not rule out a uti. Those can display some weird symptoms or none at all.

SPD can happen during and after pregnancy or have nothing to do with having babies at all. My worst pain was after I had my baby. Even now, seven years later, I'll have twinges of pain there if I lift incorrectly or use my feet to move something heavy. Just saying it can still be an injury to the cartilage and ligaments that stabilize the hips.

I have this too lately (well maybe different, but shooting pain in that area and feels like through part of bone). No other symptoms related to common infections I've had before but I'm afraid to go to ob/gyn...will wait it out a few days I suppose and see what happens.
