Well I am back on line . I have had another episode of exposure therapy and ended up in hospital for 3 days. Although I try not to think of being hospitalised as a weakness I have found that with the support of the staff allows me to process what the exposure therapy brings up. I was brave enough to manage 3 lots of 2 hour therapy sessions. Even my therapist was proud of me . He has asked me if he can video me duriung a session. What do you thinkn about that? He would like me to see what I am like when I dissociate. It seems very scarey . I have told him that I have been on line and joined this site which has encouraged me to continue my therapy. He was delighted that I have been able to write about mny experiences and has encouraged me to continue. Thank you to all that have sent me advice and words of encouragement. It seems that with every session of exposure therapy I have to deal with more stuff but I am sure it is a means to a end. I look forward to the day that I can sleep peacefully or have one whole day where I have no flashbacks or dissociation.
