Well as if things haven't been hard enough, my husband told me the kernel personally came to him and ask him to go back overseas? My husband still feels our marriage isn't gonna work and due to his symptoms he believes he's trying. I have a really bad feeling about this deployment.... I'm praying for a miracle

I'm sorry to hear this, I hope and pray that he will be OK and that there won't be any troubles for him over there.

I wonder if some marriage counseling could be of help to the two of you? Have you tried to get him to do that? I think it could help the both of you.

I, too, think counseling would be a good idea for both of you. His availability will probability be very limited as he gears up for (another?) deployment. Check out the free counseling services provided by Military One Source. I've used these services and it seems like they have counselors everywhere with flexible schedules. Maybe counseling by telephone might be the only choice if his time is limited. Do you like to read? Perhaps reading the book, The Power of a Praying Wife by Stormie Omartian will bring you some peace and comfort.
