I too was abused by my dad and I know how hard it is. how are you ever suppose to trust men if the one man who should treat you better than any other is your father and he betrays you like that. It is not an easy thing to go through! Hang in there!!

Hey, similar experience for me, My abuser was my grandfather and i feel ill anytime I think about it too. He died after 4 years of abuse, and sometimes my nan would be two rooms away when he was doing it. No one noticed and if I resisted at the start then he'd use his physical force over me, so I ended up really shy and cold and numb, which made me feel guilty. I know all about the 'our little secret' I know all about the 'it's the last time I promise' and the 'bad men will take you away if you tell'. At the time I was so young I was told to respect your elders and do what they say without question, so I did, and i was terrified and traumatised as a result. You are not alone, and i am so pleased that you are gaining the confidence to take your anger out on HIM and not on yourself, like I did for many years. he deserves to be hung drawn quartered and then burn in whatever hell there might be for hurting you in this way. Don't worry, we are here for you
