...I was unaware that burying the dead inside was an option. I want to track down this disgrace to my uniform, cut off her stupid duck lips with an x-acto knife, and then sprinkle small metal shavings into her eyes.

Apparently the casket was empty (given that they're in ACU's) and they were just going to use it for a drill, but it's still in monumentally poor taste. I believe the chick giving the peace sign is the same as the one above.

I don't know how the reserve force is now. I do know it is more heavily relied on than at any time since Vietnam.

However, having said that, In the early 90's when I transferred from active to reserves it all seemed like one big joke. A bunch of government employees trying to double dip on pensions and not doing shit. There were about 10 of us E5 fleet guys out of 150 in the unit. They had no idea what to do with us, even the reserve officers were afraid to talk to us. Kind of surreal. Rest assured, we found something to do..............it was called drinking beer and watching football at a guys house near the reserve station. The officers were happy we disappeared as it avoided any unsightly events.......Like an E5 telling a Lt to go f*ck himself in front of the unit.

I hope the reserves have changed from that, but gathering from the actions of the above morons.....Hmmmm. They had a job to give one of the only two things you can hope for when in the military. Death with honor or an Honourable discharge. These guys really f*cked up. Absolute shame on all of them.

I get that when you're surrounded by grimness all the time, you start laughing about f*cked up shit. I've cracked a few disrespectful and just plain wrong jokes a few times. But they actually immortalized their dumbassery in a photo, and then posted it on social media!
