Just looking for others who served.

My PTSD did not come from combat in IRAQ of AFGHANISTAN.

Mine came from a physical assault from the command master chief and a death threat from a crazy guy 10 years older then and he was punished with captains mast.

For me this started at 19 years old. It was left untreated. Finally I am putting the dots to where my anger and ptsd and all associated symptoms came from.

Just wondering if anyone can relate?

Would be Great to share information "putting the dots" as you mentioned. I am at the other end of the World, Take Care Bro, Greetings

Cool Man. Where are you?

Here is what happened today
Just got finished with a small group therapy va mental health. I keep on trying to recollect just the exact feelings, emotions, abilities, person I was at 19 years old, young impressionable, follow any order, do anything, Navy Pride, Reading the bible to allow for the freaking things I was told and believed and tried to minimize and gloss over and pretend did not happen. Basically I tried to normalize bad treatment to me. It is not good at all. The outcomes I have found are all bad. Anyways that is not even considering the physical beat down I got from an e9 when I was just an e4. And following on that note that I just became a panzy whimpering little bastard for some ignorant assholes abuse of a younger guy I read this. I was at the time reading the bible and believeing such statements as this, "Whether he provides or not(beats your ass tells you bad things), let one serve his creator(navy hierarchy) out of love, simply because the Lord My God Commanded me(Deuteronomy4:5) And even when suffering comes upon a man, let him not allow himself to waver or question, Let him serve Him with love, as it is written, HAPPY the man whom Thou chastisest, O Lord(psalm 94:12) Is this not good rules to allow for abuse and actually believe it is OK! fuk ya it is
