This is driving me crazy!

Sitting on stock and waiting to sell. Grrrrrrr....

5% gain really means only 3% gain. If I wait the stock might drop...if I sell and it goes up....grrr.. if I buy more and it goes down....

Intense. Glad I don't do this for a living. lol Probably a good thing that good traders make decent money so they can retire early before their nerves are completely frayed and they develop some kind of anxiety disorder! :roflmao:

Yup... I imagine many good brokers spend their off-market time studying the news and learning what's going on in companies, then anxiety riddled when the markets are opened.

Not something I could do...

I used to do it, and loved it! The nice thing about the actual stock market is you can set limit orders, so you can automatically buy or sell at a certain price. It takes some of the anxiety out of it.

I have to admit, since I have to work during the day, I did install an app on my phone this morning to watch a couple of my stocks so I can sell when I'm up.

Innordinate, I have installed an air and independent break on my hands. Yesterday night I can't believe I logged in to this site many times. Just for trading all time.

Today I have taken off my mind from there. I told myself I have got enough things to spend day and don't need to develop that addiction. :D

I sold out citrix early this morning, watching it go down down down. It's still going down. Now the only piss off will be if it goes back up, lol.

I left many, though sold out of everything that I'd made 5%+ from... in the great sell-out for Christmas holidays. I'll wait and see if others go up so I can sell them off, otherwise I may let them sit and just hang onto them until they eventually die or profit. Not a fan of losing money for the sake of it... when it also doesn't hurt anything by leaving them there to sit... if the company ain't broke, then hope is not lost for that stock.

Next year I want to take some big risks, and really learn which stocks are possibly going up and dump lump sums into them, profit, then get out... repeat process.

Friday I'm selling everything over 4% and leaving the rest to work itself out in the new year.
