Somatic connection experience confused!!!!

Has anyone ever had a somatic connection type experience from across the room? I didn’t go to my regular t and the appointment wasn’t even for me. I don’t even know how to explain or quite describe what happened. I’m freaking out and very confused.

It was like this energy field where this person was speaking to me and my body started relaxing. This sounds crazy, I’m trying to find the words...it almost felt like she could read my mind.

It's awesome you had that connection. I think I would see that as a blessing and really try and use that connection to work on things. I bet it was surreal though.

Did you continue this type of therapy? I started a few weeks ago and had a weird and very surreal experience on my second last session. I posted about it but no responses yet. I dont think it’s a very popular therapy or I believe it is fairly new still. I had that feeling as well, as if my counselor was in my head or reading my thoughts.

That, in my mind, helps me feel understood. I’m pretty ok with it
