I confess, I don't know the facts of this case. I do know that a young lady accused the Florida State Quarterback, now a heisman hopeful, and most likely will play for the national championship, of rape.
I do not know if he did it; I only know this young lady had the courage to file the charges a year ago, and now the charges have been dismissed. My heart goes out to this girl. If, in fact, he raped her, traumatized her, then the system has let her down. The D.A. said there was not enough evidence to get a conviction, and that might be true, but this young lady will still feel betrayed by the ones who are supposed to protect her.
I only hope the decision made by the D.A. has nothing to do with football.
