ITL,
So sorry to hear your news.
I know that there are loads of people out there that if they had a magic wand they would gladly wave your illness away. Doing that for you realy is not possible for you.
There are loads of ways that you can be helped and supported through this awful time so don`t give up on your self. I know that times ahead will be difficult, scary, exausting and a mariad of other emotional and physical things. It will be your strength, courage, determination and of course your acceptance of your condition that in part will help you though this along with conventional medication.
There are other ways and other more unconventional treatments you can use along with your meds and I think that it may be a good idea to think about using some of these. If you use a complementary practitioner it is a good idea to follow some guidelines to make sure they are valid therapists, no scammers, or rip off merchants and speaking to previous clients would help with this.
If it is possible it`s a good idea to see a Nutrition Specialist as having a good diet that is focused on your own particular needs and perhaps extra supplements is supposed to help. Go for a specialised diet for your medical conditions not a faddy Hip and Thigh or some other rubbishy commercial effort.
Also there is a famous Metaphysical teacher, Louise L. Hay who was helped through her cancer by using positive thinking techniques. Her books and CDs have been helpful to a lot of people with all sorts of problems. These books and CDs can be obtained from libraries, book shops and usually come under the heading of complementary medicine. You may find Life - Reflections On Your Journey and How to Heal Your Life as a good start to look at and decide on if this is one of the thing you choose to do.
What ever way you choose to fight your battle my thoughts and prayers are with you and I wish you well in more than one sense.
Good luck and God bless
Clan Destany
