I would approach the highest placed person I could could get in to see.
1 passing judgement on you and saying you are faking it is ridiculous and out of line
2 passing on this information to others is equally out of line
If she is not removed she will surely be censured and though you are unlikely to have her good will in the future, it seems it is already too late for that. At least she will know that you will not let anything untoward go and that you refuse to take bad treatment. Taking Fiona with you was a master move.
Bottom line: There will always be nay sayers. If she thinks the earth is flat, showing her the science will not convince her.
