Other Tbi on top of ptsd

Hi. For those who are following my car accident, well, I started to have trouble remembering faces and got lost all the time and headaches from hell and memory issues and all sorts of things. Finally saw Dr who said I have TBI. Neurocog testing next. I feel bad. I needed my brain. I am determined to get it back to par.

Has anyone else had TBI and PTSD

I know someone that yrs ago had a serious car accident. Actually she was in a coma afterwards. She had such a severe TBI that when she came out of it, she had to relearn EVERYTHING. From feeding herself, to walking and talking. No, she's not perfect, but she is amazing with all that she has accomplished since. She has a daughter that she is an awesome mom to. She teaches adults English that don't speak it. And now she wants to go back to school to become a teacher full time.

She does have limitations, she can't drive. She has issues keeping a job in the private sector. She is forgetful, and she has some memory issues. But all in all, she is amazing.

So fire up those brain cells of yours and get to work. You can do this if you have the tenacity to do so....
