Possible PTSD after watching torture videos?

That's true. I hadn't considered that in my response.

On the other side of the coin, the videos were proved useful/essential in burying the bastards that commited the crimes.

I can understand the need to watch those videos if someone is a professional looking at prosecuting, or a jury member in a trial etc. It's the 'why' issue of watching something illegal that is key.
Accessing these videos on the web or dark web to fulfil some morbid curiosity is concerning for me.

Yea. Totally.
And also, there is a responsibility of reporting these videos as they are crimes. And are perpetuating abuse.
Watching them and doing nothing whatsoever to prevent them being further watched/shared is being complicit in the abuse.

This thread reminds me of mind control of the navy seals. Do you know that those guys actually die in the pool during the training? None of us know what they do to them, but they get them to be able to do things that other human beings can’t do. I don’t watch stuff like this. I think the original poster was asking if she had PTSD from watching the videos or if you could could get PTSD from videos like that and honestly it wouldn’t surprise me a subconscious mind can they make things real and if what you were all watching on those videos was real and it actually happened. I can’t think about it anymore.
