Teddy Bears Picnic - July 2012

Hubby has told me that he really enjoyed himself, he was so chuffed he got his get up and go, instead of backing out half an hour before we had to leave home.

He felt so comfortable, if he had not started to ache and needed to walk, he could have sat there for a few more hours.

I too feel a bit bruised from sitting for so long and the hard ground, but well worth it. :tup:

LOL H and I DID stay longer! We are still in York and still having a great time :)

It was an amazing day. I was so nervous before I left but felt so relaxed when I got to the picnic. Every one was so nice and, like Amethist said, I felt like I'd known everyone for ever! What a wonderful group of people!

I can't post my photos as I'm using my sisters IPad but I will when I get home.

At least we didn't take a picture of 'tanned man in tight shorts with nothing underneath and a torn shunt cutting toe nails in the park' eh KP!?!

Amazing day, amazing people! I would definitely recommend meeting like this.
