I have just finished reading the Millenium Trilogy by Steig Larson - cracking read!! (but does contain some scenes of sexual violence/rape, so avoid if this causes you distress)

I have started a Stephen Leather book (can't remember the title off hand). I've read several of his in the past, and they never disappoint. I feel a little bit guilty because this was a Christmas present to my Dad, and now I'm reading ot before him - but he's kind like that

I have never had a KFC or a kebab (the type us brits buy on their way home from the pub - just the smell makes me want to vomit

The only bone I have broken is my big toe, when I played Wii for the first time - ok, I'd had a lot to drink at a house party, tried my first go on Wii tennis. Took a dive for the ball (totally unecessary!) and fell over, put my shoes back on and walked home. Only realised I'd injured myself the next day (I don't think I've been that drunk since

) My toe and foot were black and blue, and very painful - xray revealed a fracture on my toe!

My favourite subject at school was science.

The tattoo artist that did the little star on my foot also did some tattoos for the actor Mark Walberg. I ask him if it was the smallest tattoe he ever did, he said yes! Ha! It is the only tattoo I have.

My son has never had a cavity in his life.

I broke my toe one day getting ready for work. It %^$#*%$ Hurt!!!!! I had to wear sneakers for 2 months. I hated it because I always wear heels.

I prefer cats over dogs...yet I have 2 dogs and no cats....

I didn't learn how to tie my shoes until I was in 4th grade.

I have a scar on my face with no memory of how it got there.

I met the guitarist Brian Yale from Matchbox 20. I was doing hospice care and the patient happened to be his grandmother.

I didn't recognize him but heard him talking to his aunt and as he was leaving I stopped him and said, "are you in Matchbox 20?" He said yes. I was like OMG I love you guys! (nothing like a gushing fan right?). But he genuiely seemed flattered and he gave me a BIG HUG

. He's really cute and we chatted for a few minutes. I even got him to give me his autograph!

Hey Kath - You make me :).

Have you heard of Rob Thomas? Well, he has a band. That band is called Matchbox 20. The guitarist is the one who I met. Love and Hugs Sister. Heather

Maybe it's a United States thing?

Confused... Never heard of Matchbox 20, Rob Thomas or Brian Yale, and I'm in the US... hope that doesn't get me hauled out of the country! :)

I love funny movies, especially ones that have a lot of sight gags...
Airplane
Naked Gun series
Spaceballs, etc...

I love classical music, but have been known to have Mickey Hart or TobyMac jacked up to near ear-bleed levels (which isn't that loud - I have "bat hearing").
I can't get enough drumming music.

Passionate about reading, a lot, and an eclectic mix of books. Love to learn!

I just baked some whole wheat bread on a baking stone (makes a BIG difference) in my oven.

And I just ate some of it too with butter.

Turned out to be pretty good!
