Hi Everyone,

I am a Psychology undergraduate at the University of Sussex, UK. I would be very grateful if anyone could assist my colleagues and I with our dissertation survey investigating the importance of social context in PTSD.

The survey looks at how we respond to very stressful or traumatic events and the importance of those around us during these times.

To participate in this survey you must have experienced a very stressful or traumatic event in the last 2 years, be over the age of 18 and fluent in English.

The survey should only take you around 30 minutes to complete. Any information you provide will be kept both anonymous and confidential and you have the right to withdraw your data at any point if you wish to do so.

You will also be entered into a prize draw for 4 chances to win £25. You will need to provide your email address if you wish to be entered into the prize draw.

You should go about this the right way and contact the site admin. This forum is full of veterans who have seen combat and probably had many, many traumatic events. They won't talk about them on here and shit, they probably won't talk about them with their therapist until they know them, so you have a fat chance of them talking about them to you.

This site if for combat veterans only. It states that clearly.

I stand in profound silence. How can someone who is going to try to become a member of a "trusted community" ... Potentally some day you could be talking to a Veteran and trying to help them with PTSD.
WE dont need to get a bribe or a chance to win in order to help you out.
