@Faith Andrews i think I can guess where you had your bad experience. I looked into one like that and there was a woman at river oaks that transferred from that program for that same reason. While the ED program was in the same building at River Oaks as a trauma patient our program was only minimally impacted by the program what that means is we had to ask to access the kitchen and bathroom access was only through our bedroom so they could be monitored but they slept and did group work in a different hall/module.
@Sandstone I learned ways to manage my negative coping behaviors. I don’t have them mastered but I will keep working on them. I learned how to begin to set boundaries with my family but most importantly I learned I am not alone and that there are people out there willing to support and assist me with my healing. I am not alone.
