It depends if you want the reverse. I think the first part of rewiring (or breaking triggers) is to figure out what you do want. That can be really tough. Well worth while though.
What I have done with my triggers, when I want to replace one with something less 'dramatic', is to tie a trigger that is less horrible into the trigger I want to replace. Like the pain is tied into the orgasm, you could, for instance, tie eyes into the pain....entrainment to be cued into the eyes then pain then orgasm can turn into pain, eyes, orgasm. Then the eyes become the dominant cue and one can drop the pain.
lol. No idea if that makes sense to anyone else but me, but yah, really just a replacement then deletion model.
