Having my hugs with angel pie, she's 3 but refuses to sleep in her own bed. Naughty I know but I'm not really bothered I love my hugs with Miss pie:D

Making dinner with my father, making random goofy jokes with my brother. Reading the newspaper on my free day in a coffeecorner and look at all the passing people. FLOWERS, it makes me happy.

Mondays alone!;)
A day without wind and cold rain so the pain is not so bad!:)
My PC (I wonder how people survived back in the day without entertainment when they were disabled).

I guess this isn't a big thing for me. But it was huge for someone else and made me feel good about what I do. I was friendly and gave the information, although I do volunteer driving as well.

I had a call from an 86 yo man. He recently lost his wife and then through ill health his driving licence and car. I explained what we did and that we could take him shopping and on outings.

He was so grateful and thanked me for being kind and for the service which as he said has given him his life back and he had been housebound without family or transport.

For Christmas I received an envelope addressed to my H and I with this message on it:

'I know there has been lots of tears this year - hope this brings you some laughs.'

Inside there was 2 tickets to see Spamalot at the Liverpool Empire on the 21st January! Not only that but our friends are driving us to the station and picking us up later! How kind is that! I cried! I'm a massive Python fan and am so looking forward to seeing the musical, even if it doesn't compare to the original, it will still be fun! Fantastic seats in row C near the front! What a surprise and how thoughtful of my friends!

I am so very grateful for true friends!:)

I haven't done this in a while... today what made me happy was a solitary breakfast of two eggs over easy with salsa and some sausage patties with a nice but brief chat by phone to my mom. I really like the calls where we both get off the phone feeling pleasant. It did make me happy today.
