- Being able to think reasonably clear.

- Taking breaks from workloads.

- My daughter's works of art, illustration and writings.

- My son's determination, hardwork and written stories.

- Accomplishing and/or learning something, applying it, and moving beyond.

- The way my puppy looks and behaves: his eyes, his colors, his paws, his muscular doggie-build, his ears, his jawls, his ability to chill, his excitability, his remembering what time of day it is, his interest in people, his desire to wander about, sniff around and learn and dig holes to expose roots. His affectionate eyes, his trust in people. Let's just say his everything. Our puppy is simply awesome.

- The ways colors contrast and blend together.

- Details, ...details make me happy. I like to see details, hear of the details, familiarize myself with details, know the details, hear the details, provide the details and simply have always enjoyed details.

- Humor, .....and some truth! Humor always, and just enough truth (wholesome truths), makes me happy; Seldom if ever badly processed or uncleanly filtered truths.

- Lobster, shrimp, fish, scallops, every kind of salad imaginable and fresh organic fruit makes me happy.

- Lemondaide.

- When willing and/or eager to try out something new and good, and know just what it's gonna be.

....and more for another time.

The woods I walk in.
The birds in the morning.
My cat that cuddles with me everynight.
Hugs.
Films from the 1970's to 1990's.
Black n White photos.
Old Time Rock n Roll.
Raggae. (Bob Marley specifically)

- Our year old puppy stepping up and placing his paws upon my lap, while using his doggie voice-whine, then proceeding to climb up while reaching his front legs further and further up in his attempts to request that I hug, hold and cradle him; I love this! He reminds me of a toddler. Only a toddler doesn't lap your eyeglasses off your face. (LOL & :)'s. He's hilarious. ........A funny, funny puppy.

- My dark pink Lucy Rose of Sharon bush which I planted when it was young and which is growing enormously and beautifully just outside our kitchen windows.

- A handful of Big things in Life that make me Happy, that come to mind which I can't list here, or else I'd be minimizing from how Big they are; Already I have difficulty listing Small things, because so much of it all seems Big to me, and quite honestly really is.

- My lilac bushes that are growing taller and bushier by the day and creating more and more summer-time privacy in the yard.

- I'm not gonna list each shrub and plant in our yard, but truthfully, they all' make me very, very happy. ...Whoops, not the weeds. ....Well nearly every plant.

- My daily vitamin/supplements after meals for husband and I; These make me happy and secretly I've been all excited about having and taking them.

- The paint/colors on our kitchen and diningroom walls; We're yet to paint the interior of the rest of our house.

- Salty pretzels from baseball concession stands.

- Vanilla icecream sandwhiches.

- The dirt that accumulates in the bottom container of a wet vac; Which always means I've done that job well.

- No homework nights for kids.

- Watching RL Stine kids scary show.

- Winning in the board game stratego.

Oh' no, better stop as I am listing quite the extensive list. There is really quite a bit that I can once again, ( and more and more) better appreciate and enjoy that makes me happy.

Seriously, Annie is my "small thing" to make me happy every day.

Picking bouquets on campus.

Seeing the piglets at the farm and playing with them like puppies.

Hearing Annie snore.

Dew.

The smell after rain.

Clothes just out of the dryer.

I've been really tempted to post this here because it's true. I think I have to succumb...

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens. Black copper kettles and warm woolen mittens. Brown paper packages tied up with string.
