Today it was telling an 85 year old friend who was finicky about lunch that she'd better be glad she had "her lunch" instead of "my lunch". When she asked what it was and I told her, her face scrunched up into the funniest expression and said, "My lands, is there anything you won't eat?" (To which I replied, "No, not really... if it's supposed to be "good" for you." She was speechless and ate every bit of her lunch.)
I had miso soup with ginger red snapper, seaweed, and turnip greens, black rice with pressed barley, and a broccoli stem and cucumber/redpepper salad. ;)
